The APF is returning to Wisconsin!  For online registration, please read through the instructions on this page, and click on the “Online Payment Link” below.  This weekend of events will include a unique seminar for beginner powerlifters on Saturday 9/24 that will run from 11:00 a.m. to ~4:00 p.m., and the APF Wisconsin State Meet on Sunday 9/25.  Beginner powerlifters can opt to register for both events through the Beginners Seminar enrollment page

Weekend Schedule

• Saturday, September 24, 2022:  APF Wisconsin Beginners Seminar @ 11:00 a.m.

  • 2XL Powerlifting staff and APF Wisconsin powerlifters will cover everything an aspiring or beginning powerlifter needs to know to compete in a sanctioned powerlifting competition.  The staff includes world-champion powerlifters as well as APF sanctioned powerlifting referees to cover both the technique and strategy of a competing in a powerlifting meet as well as the logisitics and rules of a sanctioned contest.

    2XL Staff will start by explaining day-of logsitics of a powerlifting meet, including weigh-ins, scheduling of flights, warm-ups, attempt selection and the flow of a typical meet. The rules, commands, and technique of the squat, bench and deadlift will be explained in a straight forward fashion.

• Sunday, September 25, 2022:  APF Wisconsin State Meet @ 9:00 a.m.
  • Weigh-ins –  Saturday 9/24:  9:oo to 10:30 a.m. or 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Instructions for Online Registration:

• Go to the link below, and click “SIGN UP” below the APF Wisconsin Beginners Seminar or APF Wisconsin State Meet and select to “SIGN UP.”
• If you have not used our system before, you will need to create an account.
  • You will need to select to Opt-in to “Join our mailing list” when you create your account as otherwise you will not receive thrue confirmation email described below
    • ***Don’t worry, we will not send you lots of spam emails–you can opt out of our Constant Contact list later if you choose***

  • Online Payment Link

• After submitting payment, you should receive an email confirmation–that email will include a link to submit your entry information (i.e. event, division, wt. class, etc.).
• If you do not recieve that email, first try checking your junk mail–if you still do not receive it,  email Eric Stone and he can resend the link.
• If desiring to attend BOTH the Seminar and Meet, only sign-up for the APF Wisconsin Beginners Seminar enrollment, and you will automatically be registered for the State Meet within a week of paying.
